The Sound of Midterms...

The past week was eventful and exciting for the Winslow girls. The large ensemble was composed of performances from the school orchestra, junior and senior concert bands, and ended with the choir. Jessie Cheng and Lucy Zhu were involved with the orchestra, Julia Liao played flute in the concert band, and Caterina Asti sang impressive and emotional pieces from the musical, Mamma Mia. All the girls performed extremely well at the large ensemble.

Midterm week is coming up, and the senior girls are getting quite busy. The house collectively decided to be more aware of the noise level in the house so that people can have a quiet environment for studying. During house meetings, Mrs. Jackson also gave several tips on how to prepare for exams and cope with the stress, such as eating healthy, getting enough sleep, and staying hydrated. Best of luck to all the girls who have midterm exams, and thank you to those who were being considerate and understanding to the stress level in the house.
