Worldy Winslow Weekend
The November long weekend marked the end of the first term. From California to Japan, the Winslow girls dispersed and almost dominated the globe. The girls field hockey season finished off with an intense shootout in provincials, where Jessie, the team’s goalkeeper, helped secure her team’s spot in 9th place, which ended up winning conciliation.
While walking around a mall in Vancouver, Sophie, Michelle Li, and Bella P. unexpectedly bumped into Archie from Riverdale in a breathtaking moment. Being absorbed by the scene, the girls were unfortunately unable to secure a photo of the actor. To this date, there is no proof of the incident ever taking place. Ana, Caterina and Emma S. had an exceptional school trip to California. The girls spent eight hours at Universal Studios, 10 hours at Six Flags and 16 hours in Disneyland. Albeit being terrified of heights, Caterina swallowed her fear as she took on the crazy Superman ride in Disneyland, and dared to open her eyes for half a second during the ride. Our California girls were unforgettable. Meanwhile, the 16 hours gave Emma S. no option but to take a sweet four hour nap in the hotel.
