Mamma Mia, Here We Go Again!
This week has a been an anxious one for those trying out for the musical. The audition process went on for about 2 weeks. It began with general auditions in week one. Then call backs were made the following week. This past Friday, the casting list came out and Winslow’s own Caterina scored a lead role as Donna! When asked, she said: “It was stressful, but good.” She’s so excited and happy to be in the musical.
As well as the musical, Jessica Chen, co-head of the SMUS Dance Intramural, has been facilitating the #KiKismus dance challenge. She’s been encouraging the school to create their own videos and upload them under this hashtag. One night, Adrienne even got a handful of Winslow House girls to make a video for the hashtag! She has now picked the the 3 winners and she will announce them in the following week.
Other than those interesting topics, the week has not been too busy. The school proceeded as usual and so did Winslow House. The week was also quite a beautiful one. Victoria was warm, the sun was shining, and there was no rain; it was like a second summer!
