The Pride of the Jag

The SMUS Senior boys rugby team battled against Oak Bay High at the Boot Game on Tuesday. Although it may not have been the outcome our team hoped for, it was a very physical and exciting game. Many students went out to cheer them on.

On Friday, the Volunteer Club organized a great Earth Day Fair at lunch - including fun games, a photo booth, free healthy food and amazing music sung by our very own Winslow Panther - Charlotte Angkirwan.

The SMUS campus was full of activities during Pride week. On Tuesday a speaker discussed ‘Pride through understanding’. On Wednesday, Pride day was held at lunch in the quad. There was food, merchandise, music and a catwalk. A portion of the proceeds raised during Pride Day went to Rainbow Railroad. Lastly, the movie ‘Saturday Church’ was showcased in the lecture theatre on Friday night.
