Dancing, painting and Acting!!

This week, Winslow will be organizing the House chapel. Our girls have been working very hard to write their speeches and film the House video on the theme of “Loving Others”. We will be having speeches by Morgan and Julia, as well as performances by Lisa, Vivian and Victoria, as well as Michelle Li and Miya.

Here is an update from Charlotte on the musical:

Hi, my name is Charlotte, I am in Grade 12 and I will be discussing about my involvement in this year’s school musical. I am playing the role of Brenda Strong in the school production, Catch Me If You Can. The musical has been a great experience so far, as I’ve gotten a chance to do something I love (singing), as well as spending time with my closest friends. To those who are considering joining the musical, I would recommend everyone to participate next year!

Many of our Winslow girls are great participants in the production, including Megan and Samina as the main dancers in the show, as well as Lucy, Jessie and Yuina in the pit orchestra. We are currently in the rehearsal process for the show, and the tickets are on sale right now! The show will be held at the McPherson theatre from March 1-3. Some of our girls were also involved in a Hip Hop class, life drawing class and we visited Fernanda at the Shaw Ocean Discovery Centre! Michelle M and Maki were also working on painting scenes for the musical.
