Study your way to an A!
With the distinct testing system that SMUS has applied this year, many classes have various mid-terms coming up. Although it is a stressful period of time, the mid-term tests do help us to be better prepared for the final testing at the end of the year.
Here are a few studying tips:
- Keep organized: List out your exams and preparation and revision that you need to do for them; sometimes, creating a checklist or a to-do list is always helpful
-Join/ create a study group: collaborate and discuss with peers will not only help you not to miss any concept, but also offers you a different perspective to view the problem.
- Reach out for help: SMUS faculty is extremely helpful and supportive; set up an appointment with your teacher or drop by some helping sessions; take advantage of the tutoring center in the library during prep; ask around! You have so many talented Winslow sisters and Barnacle brothers around you.
- Relax and get enough rest: caffeine is never the solution; have some study breaks to walk around and get some fresh air; keep hydrated; eat regularly and chose healthy options; guarantee a 8-hour sleep
Good luck to everyone
