First Week Back

School has started this week, and everyone has returned with a relaxed mind and enthusiasm to welcome the second term. Although the weather was not perfect this week (we had A LOT of rain), and many of us are struggling with jet lag, we are getting back into the routine of school and enjoying ourselves.

On Saturday Winslow house had an opportunity to do ice skating! It was a nice way to get us reunited and reconnected after the long break. Most of us had already tried ice skating before so we enjoyed hanging out with our friends. Some girls, who have not skated before, were working hard to learn with the help of other Winslow girls.

Michelle Li skated for the first time on Saturday. Here is what she thought about the experience: “I was worried before I went on the ice, however, Angelina taught me how to skate and did it with me for the first several round. I could finally skate by myself at the last minute of the activity without anyone’s help.”

We are looking forward to a sunnier week, and to continuing to ease back into routine.
