Hallowe'en at SMUS

As Halloween drew near, our week ahead turned into one that is spooky and fun at the same time. With so many fun activities and candy to look forward to, this week is truly one of the biggest highlights of the year.

This week in Sunday chapel was the Howlapalooza. Many talented musicians of our school performed, including Vivian, Victoria, and Charlotte from our house. Our Winslow girls truly have the most stunning voices!

On Tuesday, we had our costume parade in the single gym. Our hard work paid off when we got to show off our costumes, especially Amanda, who won the Scariest Costume award. Our house was also host for the fear factor, and a few brave students managed to stick their hands in boxes and guess what was in there. Rest assured - the grossest item in there was wet spaghetti, and we kept everything that people had to touch extremely clean.

This week was also Latin American week. To celebrate Dia de los Muertos, students had fun playing Lotería and hitting piñatas in Crothall. Good job to the Winslow girls involved in helping out with organising these activities throughout the school!
